When the moon hits your eye
Like a big pizza pie, that's amore
When you hear these words, well, don't you imagine a big piece of cheesy pizza hitting your eye?

No... I'm always reminded of a short film I saw at the film festival probably 20 years ago.
it had the song as its soundtrack & had animated moons, eyes, pizzas etc.
But then, when the punchline loomed. this big eel would leap into frame with a lusty "That's a moray".
It was brilliant.
Damnit llew, you beat me.
and I just think of Marc Ellis' cheeky Sportscafe version he sang to Matthew Ridge: "That's Parore"
Actually, you seem to have this talent for making me flashback to being a young'un in front of the TV during the Dean Martin Show.
Now *that* comment reminds me of the video to Erasure's "A little respect" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpyUiAbH2Ts&search=%22a%20little%20respect%22)which is similarly punny...
Ouch!
Glen Osbourne and Mike King sang about that little phrase on Game of Two Halves in 2002. It was on flashback on Monday's 'Game of Two Halves' season opener
'When there's trouble and strive, and you're missing your wife, THAT'S Parore'.
Wonder if Glen or Mike or Marc or Matt or anyone ever did the lyrics for the whole song.
